Dr. Avidano has been practicing in the Stockbridge and Fayetteville area since 1995. He is board certified in Otolaryngology Head and Neck surgery. He was one of the first in the South Metro area to utilize coblation technology to help reduce postoperative tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy pain and recovery times. He also utilizes an image guided navigation system for improved safety and accuracy in sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty when clinically indicated.
He also has a special interest and extended training in the treatment of snoring and sleep disorders. The diagnosis and management of sleep problems incorporating full upper airway evaluation and sleep studies, together with both nonsurgical and surgical options can help provide optimal outcomes for the increasing number of patients with these disorders.
